Robotics Team – Media Stars
Our hardworking and successful team once again shone under the spotlight of television. This time, it was Hrvatska radiotelevizija (Croatian Radiotelevision). HRT camera crews and journalists visited our classroom 401, where our team informed them about what robotics truly is, how our robot functions, and what the FIRST Robotics Competition itself looks like.

Team members demonstrated how the robot shoots balls, what working on it looks like, and what the true power of teamwork and motivation means. Our professors also joined us and, together with some of our members, gave several short statements for the regional news broadcast.
This week, our members Clara and Nikola also participated in the show Perspektiva on Radio Rijeka. During the show, they spoke about the challenges as well as the successes we face daily as the first Croatian team competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition.

Nikola Vlašić explained in more detail how the robot works, what the assigned task looks like, and how much time we have to prepare for the competition. Clara Štimac, our PR manager responsible for public relations, explained what fundraising looks like, the size of the budget required to travel to the prestigious competition in the United States, what we need the funds for, and how we secure them.

We would like to thank Radio Rijeka for your hospitality and the opportunity to participate in your show Perspektiva. We also extend our sincere thanks to Hrvatska radiotelevizija for visiting our humble classroom 401 and giving us the opportunity to show Croatia what our Crobotics team can do. Of course, we would also like to thank all our loyal donors, especially Primorsko-goranska županija and the Faculty of Engineering in Rijeka, as well as all of you who follow and support us on our journey from our small classroom 401 all the way to the big stage in America.
Your Crobotics Team!
